I was in the Guildford branch today (13th October) and was served by a very helpful, polite and extremely cheery lady (didnt manage to get her name but she was at the right hand counter 9.30 and then again at 12.30) she went out of her way to assist me with an extremely unusual problem and eventually we got everything sorted. Thank you so much.

OK, but in common with too many financial services companies they seem very reluctant to deal with us in person, pushing us to on line or machines.
