Absolutely beautiful hotel, recently taken over and the new owners can't do enough, they are lovely. I booked to take my mum away and sadly there was an event on so we couldn't get dinner, or use the lounges which we had hoped to do, the new owners were honoring a previous booking. There is a Beefeater Pub a few minutes away which was nice, just not really what we wanted. There is also no bar so we couldn't have a drink. Wasn't a massive deal but was a shame. Bed was comfy, room was spotless and breakfast was just perfect! Would like to wish the new owners all the very best for the future!

My partner booked this for a rest bite for our hectic life...it did not disappoint. Such welcoming hosts, although they have just taken over and making adjustments they made us feel so welcome. Everything felt so homely with the open fire and seating area. Set in beautiful surroundings. We will definitely be visiting again in a few months as love the ideas they have for the place after talking to them. We stayed in room 1 and absolutely loved the decor and quirkiness of the room. Already looking at dates to go back. Thank you for providing us with the peace and tranquility we so desperately needed.
