Dune London, Kingston

Dune is one of me and my mums favourite brands and we were loyal customers. Even though I use all my bags with great care, the handle in one of my bag fell due to faulty manufacturing and short screws (which we have done everything to fix the bag at home already). We brought the bag, which I have bought a year ago and not had the receipt for anymore, to the Dune store in Bentalls and asked for it to be repaired. We were faced by a terrible attitude by one of the employees who brushed us off saying We dont do bag repairs in here. in a rude tone. Then we had to search for a repair shop for miles in the hottest day in London and my mum became sick. As a result we had to pay and extra 18 for a faulty manufacture. We were planning to buy a few shoes that day after handing our bags but decided not to and we are not planning to come back anytime soon and will tell about this to our friends to save them from all the trouble. Very disappointed by this experience since we liked Dune very much.

I had been given a bag from Dune as a birthday gift and 9 months later there was a fault. My local shoe repair refused to repair it and instructed me to take back to the shop. Dune were very unhelpful and said they didn't do repairs and when I asked for an exchange I had to provide a receipt in order to get one. It was really embarrassing as I had to get bank statement off the giver as the receipt was lost. They kept saying this is due to money laundering rules. It was a really painful experience and a faff.
