Comptoir Libanais Kingston

My family and I were excited to return to this restaurant having frequently been here before the 2020 pandemic. We had booked a table which the staff seemed to struggle to find the booking for. They initially placed us on a table much too small and then seemed to be puzzled when we looked to change location. We ordered Starters which were very meagre in their portion sizes; the Falafel tasted microwaved, the Taboula Salad was dull and tasteless and when we asked for the usually accompanying bread they served bread which we had never seen before in any Lebanese Restaurant or in the Middle East when we lived there - doughy and claggy. The atmosphere in the restaurant was marred by the incessant dance tracks they were playing; far away from the previously authentic oriental Arabic music. We attempted to raise staff attention, but were consistently ignored. We ended up paying the ridiculously large bill for 2 portions of Falafel, Taboula Salad, Bread and 5 Drinks: 47!!! Needless to say, we will not be going back

Took some friends out for lunch here and they all loved the ambience, food and exemplary service by Omkarz and Mohit. The staff were very helpful in recommending dishes.

One of the best restaurant in Kingston. Nice food ,prompt and attentive service. Mohit looked after us very well . They make really refreshing lemonades and best coffees in town. Make sure you book a table as the restaurant is really busy.
