Not a bad place to stay close to the city centre. The rooms are standard so kind of know what to expect Extra pillows available, tea and coffee facilities in room Parking available in an NCP car park, there is another one to the rear as well

I initially went to the wrong travelodge as they are very close to each other and was greeted by a a girl in a black hijab with a lovely warm welcoming smile who kindly redirected me. Five stars to her customer service! Then approaching the correct one the exterior was dingy old and uninviting I spoke to a west African man who wasn't very friendly and had the 'I hate my job look' on his face. He instantly intimated I needed an early check-in to check-in which I did have. I showed him and after slight resistance he confirmed. The room was worse than standard Travelodge cleanliness which isn't saying much Most TV channels didn't work Hair on the toilet seat and dirty spoon The shower didn't drain properly so it ending up overspilling You can't expect much from a travelodge but this was less than the baren bare minimum Would I recommend this Travelodge, if you're really on a budget it will do but the overall cleanliness has me suspicious about what else isn't clean
