The very first day of my jury service the Barristers were on strike the court told us to go away for a couple of hours and come back by 12, which I did but as I approached the security door for witnesses I realised I'd completely forgotten the code witness services room was right next to the door I knocked and asked do you know if this occurred and I said the code is the right one she she ground to me don't see it allowed I'm in public which would be very understandable if there was anybody nearby but there wasn't she then said go back and speak to the security people and in my planet because I was running now late I dashed off to the security people at which point I heard a very loud voice saying you're welcome with quite anchoring tones in it under normal circumstances I am an extremely polite person open doors say please thank you but in this incident been caught seems like an extreme no no later I asked her can I have your name no you can't and why would you want that I think anybody in public service understand why somebody would ask for your name especially if your customer service is -5 I working customer services and sometimes people do get under your skin but it's certainly not professional to speak to them like that I'm sure the courts wouldn't want a jurors first day to be made such rudeness
