I would give 3 stars, by it seems like the effort a teacher should have to put in for 3 stars, wouldn't merit the teachers I have been taught by this year. Perhaps this is a case of over demand for the services Kingston College provide. Possibly it is a case of being an Access Student (19+, level 3). And teachers knowing these students, NEED this course. Often what might appear to be poor teaching ability or sub-optimal lesson preparation; is actually not their responsibility, and actually it is to prepare us for university. . . So really, they're just deeply morale people, on the quest for our betterment, even if it means putting in less effort. Perhaps it is a case of overstretched teachers at Kingston. I have heard two of my teachers, speak about being made to teacher an ever growing number of units, across multiple classes. I do get a sense that they feel undermined and overwhelmed. But this is subject dependent I suppose. - This is just a review of the Computer Science department. Outside of my own claims, our class has dropped from about 20 to about 12, many of which skip certain days to avoid certain teachers. This course is pretty draining, and what annoys me is that it doesn't have to be. Given a teacher's will to live, this subject does not have to be dis-interesting.
