I booked a reservation yesterday for classic afternoon tea and lunch for my daughters birthday. The table reserved was lovely and the food was absolutely delicious. My daughter was given a pretty cake as a birthday gift. The service was outstanding and staff really welcoming. Will definitely book again. We ordered the smoothies green revival and forest fruits. Which was 7.50 each which I personally think is very expensive for what it was. Also had the eclair which was coffee flavour was ok but not worth the price of 5pound. Service the waitress was unfriendly and slammed down our drinks with a miserable face talk about customer service their wasn't any from her. I had to ask them to clean our table as it was dirty. She most likely got upset about that which is unacceptable. Overall ok place if your in John Lewis and want a quick drink.

The best birthday experience. I celebrated my 24th here on the 27th and had the best time. The afternoon tea was lovely, fresh, and really tasty. My little sister was also able to get her dietary needs not only met, but me to a very high standard. The tea room is so beautiful and clean, and the staff were so friendly and kind.
