Really helpful when I took my teenager in to open a U19 account. Friendly person at the door to point us in the right direction and helpful manager to run through the account. Great experience Thank you

Went in to exchange an old withdrawn 10 note this morning. After getting past the unsmiling, officious bouncer (what else do you call those people who stand there and vet customers as they walk in?), I went to the counter and was told I have to deposit the cash first and then withdraw it. When I said I don't have an account with them, they told me they won't exchange the note and that I'd have to go to a bank with whom I have an account. News to me - it's never been the case when I've done this in the past. Anyway, so I went to Santander, waited in line for 10 minutes and then, on reaching the counter the cashier took my tenner and replaced it with a new one right away. That's it. No questions asked. Took less than 30 seconds. I have never, in my half-century of existence, held an account with Lloyds Bank. And my experience with them today will ensure that that'll remain the case for the remainder of my life. Well played, Lloyds. (Slow clap).
