We have been working with Chris Bisset Architecture to design an accessible extension for our home. Having received planning permission, we are now working on the detailed designs. We are very happy to be working with Chris and his team. They have really understood our family dynamic and started the project with the view that an accessible home can be functional and also incorporate clever design features. Chris and his team have been knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to work with.

I've worked with Chris for a number of years now across a range of domestic residential projects. We first worked together when Chris was at 6a Architects the year they were shortlisted for the prestigious RIBA Stirling Prize, arguably the highest accolade for architecture in the UK. Chris is obviously very versatile and skilled at what he does. In my opinion one thing that particularly marks him out is how good he is at saving cost on unimportant aspects of a project so that there is more to spend on the client's priorities.

While Chris had some good ideas on design, he was difficult to work with, disorganised and made mistakes that cost us money. His poor customer service skills and lack of ownership for his work also meant that we have terminated the work with Chris earlier than project end date. He is falsely advertising our build on this website as project for Emma. He is stating that he has only provided only architectural drawings but in fact was also contracted to deliver technical spec and management of construction. The images show are rendered drawings and are not of completed work.
