Well what I can say this place is such a gem we can't wait to go back and stay again! Karen and Emanuela are the perfect hosts. Loved chatting with them and the food was superb! We sampled a range of homemade Italian treat from pizza to deli boards and suppli, fantastic! The log cabin had everything we needed. We stayed at the start of April and the stove kept us toasty and we had a campfire every evening over looking the beautiful Swaledale valley. Plenty of excellent walks on the doorstep and much quieter than other areas of the dales. I would thoroughly recommend and we're already looking for our next weekend to come back and visit!

We planned a trip to Aysgarth falls so decided to book in at Crack Pot Cottage for one night. We opted for the log cabin at the rear of the cottage. We arrived at 5pm and were greeted by the owners Emanuela and Karen who showed us where we were staying. The log cabin has everything you need for self catering outdoors like Glamping really. We opted not to bother cooking as I had already seen pics of Emauela's homemade pizza and cheese or meat boards which all come with a large glass of red wine (10). We spent a lovely evening on the veranda listening to music soaking up our surroundings eating fresh made pizza and enjoying the wine. We had a lovely nights sleep in a double bed had the option of using the burner but didn't need it. We woke early to the sound of a cockerel and sheep going out to graze. Breakfast is included in the price we chose bacon butties and a large pot of coffee each, the bread was homemade too. Overall this was a great little find very quirky just what we needed. They also have other accommodation options.
