Tina Brocklebank Make-up artist

Ive been following Tina on social media for a few years and after noticing my skin changing and feeling lost with my skincare and makeup routine from the menopause, I booked a 1to1 Lesson. Right from that point Tinas communication via email, text, questionnaire and Zoom meeting was so reassuring that she was totally taking on board and listening to my needs for my lesson. Tina is so easy to talk to with no airs and graces, her enthusiasm was contagious and her knowledge and techniques showed me how easily I could get a dewy glow finish with makeup, this put a big smile on my face all day. Along with introducing a blusher and lip colour Id have ran away from, she showed her years of experience and eye for colours that it worked beautifully, taking me slightly out of my old comfort zone, but I liked it. The list of her suggested products (no hard sell) for skincare and the makeup shed used during the lesson were all brands Id heard of which was reassuring, so now I can prepare my canvas/skin well and hopefully get the same look Tina gave me on my lesson. What a wonderful experience, Tina definitely knows her stuff and I felt like i was talking to a friend i had known for years. Even before she started to apply any make up, Tina already knew my skin type and tones and what would suit me the best. After each step of the make up lesson, she would break everything down so I knew how apply this for myself. She would listen to all my questions and advise me what the best products would be for my skin tones. I struggle with my under eye due to dark circles, pigments and wrinkles and she introduced some peach concealer which I had never used before and what a difference it made. She encouraged me to use eyeliner on my top lid to enhance my eye and I will definitely be trying this for myself. I can't wait for my new make up to arrive and to start trying them out. She has asked me to keep in touch and send her some pictures after I have been practicing. If I have any queries I know that I can come back to her at any time. Thank u so much !!!! I just had my first makeup lesson with Tina and Im so happy with the outcome. Tina really took the time to make sure I had the correct products or my skin type and colour (sensitive, dry and red). She spoke to me about skincare as well as making sure I had the correct brushes and sponges for the job. Tinas set of custom made bushes has been ideal- beautiful to work with, making the lesson easier to follow. Tina expertly broke down the makeup process into steps with clear instructions and feedback on my attempts, which was so helpful. My wedding is in 2.5 months so now I can confidently do my own makeup for both my hen do and wedding. Because of Tinas natural, timeless approach to makeup I see these lessons as an investment to develop a skill that I can use throughout my life. Im so relieved that Tina has agreed to be there (remotely) the morning of the wedding to keep my nerves in check and make sure that Ive not went too heavy with the blush on the day! I loved my online makeup lessons with Tina! She spent time understanding me and what I wanted to achieve, and sent through a comprehensive list of product suggestions, and helpful guidance to read through in advance. I was pleased the suggestions were a mix of high street, and higher end brands, and all available online. I booked one online lesson then a follow-on. The time flew by as Tina talked me through different techniques, with time for me to practise on myself, take pics and ask questions. We went from a basic face to more serious Smokey eye including tips for skin care, brushes, lips etc too. As a woman of a certain age whod always shied away from doing proper makeup, I wish Id discovered Tina earlier! Highly recommend as she has a lovely approach. I definitely recommend Tinas brushes too, I treated myself as I wanted to make sure I had a complete new set so Tina could take me through what to do with them all!
