    Ludaflors layed a vinyl tile floor in our kitchen last week and we are really pleased with the outcome. Dan the floor layer could not have been more helpful. Overall fantastic experience would definitely use again !!

    When meeting Howard, he acted professionally and gave us a great vision of what our floor could look like. Sadly, things went downhill very quickly after. His colleague came to ply and fit LVT. We specified to Howard that we wanted the fitter(s) to wear masks when passing between areas due to me working on ICU and not wanting to fall ill and affect the hospital service, but his colleague didnt wear a mask nor did he socially distance which made my partner very uncomfortable. When Howard first came to price up, we made him aware of how uneven our flooring was but the LVT was just placed on top of it. The floor is uneven to walk on, skirting boards have gaps under them and the floor sinks in places!! He also put scratches in our brand new breakfast bar! When asked to remove the flooring, we made sure to leave the house for the day so they could crack on with the work, undisturbed, but the guys only collected the unused panels and didnt take the flooring up. After about a week or two of Howard not replying to my calls or texts, I heard back from him and he said he didnt reply as he had been on holiday - why he didnt pass his caseload onto anyone else and left me waiting I dont know. I told him that in order for my new fitter to put the new flooring down, he would need to take the existing LVT and ply up, especially as the Ludaflors fitter didnt fix the floorboards(!!), and would understandably need to charge a fee to remove this flooring - 180 day rate. I therefore asked Howard if he could get one of his guys to take the flooring up or pay me 180 so he didnt need to bother. He said his guy would come the following Monday to take it up and my fitter agreed to start on Tuesday. AGAIN, we stayed out of the house on Monday so the work could be done and came back by lunchtime to find out that absolutely NOTHING had been doneand once again all of my texts and phone calls were avoided. Not only did we have a huge delay in opting for Ludaflors, we had further delays in trying to get a new fitter in and a delay in getting the flooring up. In addition to this we are currently down by 180 for the added day rate cost and probably another 50 in removal costs of all of the ply and LVT that is currently in our front garden. Had we never bothered with Ludaflors to begin with, wed be 230 richer and have a breakfast bar free from scratches! I must say, however, that the office staff at Ludaflors were absolutely lovely, felt very empathetic towards my situation and even told me they had issues with Howard. So it was at least reassuring to know that I wasnt overreacting and I deserved the decency of having promises met and not having a bouncy floor!! I dont want to spam this page with other businesses, as that would be unfair, but should anyone else have bad experiences please feel free to message me and I would be happy to provide you with the details of the replacement fitter I used.     I have only good things to say about Ludaflors. Having used them twice now. I recently moved home and needed the entire upstairs carpet replacing on a very fast turnaround. Having contacted various companies for quotes, and visited several carpet shops, Ludaflors was by far the best value like last time we used them. We explained to the lady in the office what sort of thing we were after. Howard arrived with a huge selection of samples, it was very hard to pick but we got there in the end. Howard also explained the pros and cons of each type which made our decision a lot easier. He was polite and very knowledgeable about all things flooring. Billy, arrived a week later on time as arranged. He was straight to it and was very efficient. The carpet is very well fitted and we cannot complain about the cost, or quality of the workmanship.
