        An extensive elizabethan property with a large deroofed area. The roofed area tells the story of the property with information boards. A free audio guide is available. Some fascinating details are revealed as you walk around. Outside is a lawn parterre. A large flock of peacocks/peahens in the grounds. Access road is narrow so care is needed.

        Took little George out for the day for a run around, We had a great time meeting the peacocks that rome the grounds and exploring the ruins of a great mansion. The staff were very friendly and I enjoyed chatting with them on our arrival and departure. They said offer us an audio guide but George was audio enough for me.
