I found out about the sports massage through Ellie Brown Pilates. This was my first appointment with Mary. In terms of Covid measures, Mary wears a mask if requested, and gloves during the massage. The treatment room is also bright, spacious and well ventilated. There was a brief consultation with the majority of the hour dedicated to the massage. Mary managed to ease long standing shoulder and neck tension by the end of the session. She also showed me some follow up exercises and sent links to those exercises in the post appointment email. I highly recommend.

I would really recommend a massage from Mary. She has a lot of experience in participation in sport herself, so brings this knowledge to her clients. She takes time to find out about what you would like from the treatment and offers advice to help with any injuries or reoccurring issues. Her session really benefitted me.

Mary is excellent. She was really keen to understand the cause of my knee pain and helped me with exercises to strengthen my muscles and avoid pain in the future. The massage was effective and relaxing.

I booked a session with Mary after completing my first 100km race, having suffered an injury scare in the latter stages of my training. Mary gave a very helpful consultation, tailoring exercises and massage work to my specific issues. She followed up with some suggestions on exercises and foam roller work I can do to improve problem areas. I would definitely recommend Mary and will be going back.
