(Translated by Google) An unforgettable family moment (April 2023) We had an unforgettable family time in this authentic and original pub-restaurant. Even though we didn't have to book (online booking must be done at least 24 hours in advance, not possible the same day), the boss (the Prince) warmly welcomed us as if we knew each other. He immediately found us a table for 4, then quickly offered us another larger one (6 places) when the pub-restaurant was already full of regulars (a good sign!). When ordering my beer, not knowing what to take (apart from not taking Guinness) the Prince made me taste his Blue Moon (blonde, light) which suited me perfectly that evening. Another beautiful gesture worthy of a Prince. We ordered the following plentiful and reasonably priced (12-14) dishes: - Bolognese lasagna: my son really enjoyed it, - seafood pasta (spicy): very good with mussels, cockles, prawns and langoustine. I also had fun, - 2 "4 meat" pizzas (spicy, rectangular pizza presented on a board, original!). These last 2 were too spicy for my wife and daughter. Seeing my daughter's distress, the Prince gave her a vanilla ice cream (delicious!) to relieve her. Thanks again for this gesture. - a tiramisu: succulent, soft with a well-soaked biscuit; I recommend ! What more can I say about this Prince... oh yes, my daughter forgot her bag hanging on the chair with her passport inside, but without a phone number to call (lesson to remember for the next trip). We only realized this the next morning, the day we were back in France, before leaving the hotel. A call to the restaurant at 11 a.m. when it only opens at 4 p.m., finally the "Princess" picks up and reassures me right away, even before I ask a question: she has the passport and the bag. Phew!!! We are relieved. Thanks again to the bosses who stayed until 1:30 am in case we came back the same evening. Conclusion: I recommend 10,000% this Prince of Greenwich (be careful all the same to check if the dishes are spicy), which in fact should be renamed "The King of Greenwich"! Alors que nous n'avions pas rserver (la rservation en ligne doit se faire au moins 24h l'avance, pas possible le jour mme), le patron (le Prince) nous a chaleureusement accueilli comme si nous nous connaissions. Il nous a tout de suite trouv une table pour 4, puis rapidement nous a propos une autre plus grande (6 places) alors que le pub-restaurant tait dj bien rempli par des habitus (bon signe !). Au moment de commander ma bire, ne sachant pas quoi prendre ( part ne pas prendre de Guinness) le Prince m'a fait got sa Blue Moon (blonde, lgre) qui m'allait parfaitement ce soir l. Encore un beau geste digne d'un Prince. Nous avons command les plats suivants, copieux et pour un prix raisonnable (12-14): - des lasagnes bolognaise : mon fils s'est rgal, - des ptes aux fruits de mer (pic) : trs bonnes avec moules, coques, crevettes et une langoustine. Je me suis galement rgal, - 2 pizzas "4 meat" (pic, pizza rectangulaire prsentes sur une planche, original !). Ces 2 dernires taient trop pices pour ma femme et ma fille. Voyant la dtresse de ma fille, le Prince lui a donn une glace la vanille (dlicieuse !) pour la soulager. Merci encore pour ce geste. - un tiramisu : succulent, moelleux avec un biscuit bien imbib ; je recommande ! Que dire de plus sur ce Prince... ah oui, ma fille a oubli son sac accroch la chaise avec son passeport l'intrieur, mais sans numro de tlphone appeler (leon retenir pour le prochain voyage). Nous ne nous en sommes rendu compte que le lendemain matin, jour de retour en France, avant de quitter l'htel. Un appel au restaurant 11h alors qu'il n'ouvre qu' 16h,... finalement la "Princesse" dcroche et me rassure de suite, avant mme que je ne pose de question : elle a le passeport et le sac. Ouf !!! Nous sommes soulags. Encore merci aux patrons qui sont rests jusqu' 1h30 du matin au cas o nous revenions le soir mme. Conclusion : je recommande 10 000% ce Prince de Greenwich (attention tout de mme vrifier si les plats sont pics), qui en fait devrait se renommer "le Roi de Greenwich" !
