Definitely recommend Kath to anyone looking to get professional photos! From the moment me and my family walked through the door and through to her amazing home studio, we were made to feel so welcome; and especially my 12 year old! The studio is a cosy, clean and lovely looking space, and doesnt overwhelm. Kath was professional, warm and gave clear guidance to us all. We were all so comfortable being behind her camera and well, we just had a brilliant time enjoying ourselves. To summarise: Maraschino Photography is enjoyable, welcoming and professional. I would 100% recommend!!! We were a bit unsure of what to expect as we had never done this type of photography before, but Kath was fab from the start - she explained everything and all the steps and options, helped us pick the themes and gave us great ideas on how to make the pics more meaningful with little details to make them personal. During the session she was like a magician I don't think our baby girl has been more relaxed and sound asleep as during those hours she was posing :) and then the final products are just something we will always treasure, they absolutely captured that baby glow, and are exactly what we were hoping for. I very rarely leave a review but felt compelled to after Maraschino Portraits shot a portrait session with our newborn twin grandchildren and their 13 month old brother. Firstly about Kath, the photographer. Kath is a friendly, down to earth, lovely, professional woman. She came into our home and put together her set and unpacked her boxes of scrummy props, quietly and beautifully. Prior to visiting Kath let us know that if there was anything poignant or special we wanted to use in the shoot, that was absolutely fine. She also explained how the session would go and what to expect, which was great as I had no idea! Kath was with the babies for several hours, only asking me to swap babies when they needed feeding or changing. All I could hear was her fabulous Shoosh machine (make the sound and you'll know what it is) and her sweet chatting to the babies. When the pictures arrived, beautifully packed and mounted, they were absolutely stunning. I do not think their are words to describe how I felt looking at them, truly. My heart almost exploded with pride and love. My 13 month old grandson looks like an angel but is very lively (understatement). How Kath managed to produce the images of the three of them is beyond me! Kath is a very, very talented woman. Move over Anne Geddes there's a new girl in town! Absolutely recommend Maraschino Portraits, what memories Kath captured for us. Thank you doesn't even cover it.

Amazing! This is the second time I've used Kath's services. She took my daughter's photos 4 years ago and when I had my second child I knew I wanted her to take his photos too. This time she came to my home and again the experience was just as wonderful. She is incredibly good with children- my 6 month old baby who is usually quite shy around strangers immediately warmed to her and my husband and I were left shocked at the expressions she was able to get from him. Kath is extremely talented, professional and kind. She is able to bring your vision to life.I highly recommend using her services if you want beautiful, timeless photos that you'll cherish forever.

This was the second time we've used Kath for a newborn photo session. Both sessions were absolutely wonderful and Kath is so calm and patient with everyone! The lead up to each photo shoot, during and after service that Kath provides is second to none. She ensures that you're comfortable and you've had a chance to participate in decisions around what things you want in the photo, to the type of shots taken. The finished products are just breath taking and I cannot recommend Kath enough. I'm sure we will continue to seek Kath's photo expertise in the years to come!
