Working with Keith at The Swim Shed has been a tremendously rewarding experience. Keith is a world class coach, whos found his natural calling. Learning to swim later in the life has been a daunting process, but Keith finds a unique balance between being supportive and being candid/direct so that you get the results you say you want. I know he works with much more highly skilled athletes too, but as someone who arrived unable to even get their face in water, I highly recommend!

I have been coached for the last 8.5 years by coach Keith Lewis. He is the guru of swimming and inspires everyone he meets to reach their full potential. The key to his success is he focuses on the process of swimming using drills to imprint good technique. I would recomend him to anyone who wants to improve, to take some lessons. He also coaches runners and cyclists with some cutting edge methods. Simply an outstanding professional who will help you achieve any goal no matter how big.

If you're reading this then look no further; you have found an expert that could not be more highly recommended. Deep gratitude to Keith who teaches with masterful precision, drawing on vast lived experience of swimming. Keith has been called a guru of swimming and this moniker and the respect he is given is well earned. If you are seeking a teacher in order to succeed in a triathlon, Iron Man, swim faster, cross the channel, learn from scratch or improve where you are at - Keith is your man. Technique forms a huge part of Keith's teaching and his setup is top level. For me Keith also opened my eyes to the mental aspect of swimming, an ongoing journey that requires letting go and balancing the mind in order to move through the water with harmony and ease. I count myself incredibly lucky to have met Keith and to have been taught by him (all too briefly!). Thanks to Keith I was able to break through my fear and do my first open water swim at Stony Cove. I also learned about the story of his inspirational partner Jane, for whom Keith has contributed greatly to Hope Against Cancer and whose legacy lives on in the many lives she touched. Thank you Keith, Andrea, Jane and your family for being such awesome, generous people - you're in my thoughts whenever I swim.
