Nice walks. Car parking fees always too much. Would be a great dark sky spot apart from all the neon lights around the car park.

Good place to see Hadian's wall. It's free to visit, although you have to pay to park, but that was pretty cheap. Only about a 15 minute walk from car park park up to the wall, and the setting of the wall here is stunning. We visited just before the little shop/visitor centre closed, on a day when it was raining heavily and there was no-one else here at all. The chap in the centre was friendly and helpful. There are public toilets here. We chose here because it was not too big a detour from the M6 for a quick visit.
