The headteacher Miss Moses should be truely embarrassed at how she has run this school into the ground, i recently moved my son from this school and he was so behind in everything! The comparision in work/homework is unbelievable, and when incidents happen in this school i can guarantee it will not be dealt with properly... the head teacher has a awful attitude and is more argumentative then helpful. This school failed my child terribly, you would be a fool to send your child to this school and if you do you will soon regret it!

Costons has improved over the last 5 years and rather than focussing on the negatives (which no school is perfect!), costons has made allot of positive changes over the years and continue to improve and more importantly children are happy there. There have been allot of changes over the last 5 years including new teachers (young, experienced & passionate about teaching) /staff and Head Teacher. The admin staff & PA to the head teacher is very friendly and approachable which sets a good impression on the school. They do allot of variety of afterschool clubs and this has also improved over the last couple of years. (more recent clubs offered in 2019 was coding club) They have some great school trips like London Zoo/museums/Kew Gardens/Bekonscot Model Village, Y6 PGL trip, and also looking for interesting and fun ways to raise money for the school due to school cuts. They also continue to look for ways to improve which is just as important, weather this is around teaching, clubs, school start & end timing and the building. Their christmas & end of year parties are fun and organised by the school and teachers and one event which i am sure parents appreciate not having to be part of and just dropping kids off to have a good time and the kids up with a xmas present every year!! There are alway some improvements required in any school regardless of whether its a outstanding or good school, but i think if they continue to focus on getting the right teachers in this plays a huge part, which i think Costons has been working on.
