Small swampy wetland natural feature on the Wild Walk footpath which runs alongside the pavement of the A40, from the subway at Coston Lane and separated from the A40 with hedgerows of rich Autumn pickings. Which leads onto Marnham Fields. Herons, cormorants and yellow breasted grey wagtails can often be seen here. Lots of hedgerow bushes with bramble berries, rosehips, haw berries, plums, sloes, crabapples and apples to pick during the Autumn months. Do remember to wash your pickings before consuming them. When you enter Marnham Fields walk centrally through the 1st field. Cross the Green Man Bridge over the Grand Union Canal and walk diagonally across the next swampy field it will take you out to Northalla Fields. A lovely short cut nature walk from Greenford to Northolt. Good for dog walkers and joggers. In close proximity to Aladdin's Tower and Greenford Station.
