We had wanted to visit this place for a while as my partner always enjoyed the food when they were on the market place. We went in December, I had seen a Christmas menu on Facebook which was a deal for two or three courses, so I asked about this only to be told it had to be prebooked. I found this a bit odd as the dishes appeared to be all the same ones from the normal menu (except for dessert) but just cheaper, so I assume they just didn't want to do the better value deal. The restaurant was freezing cold, we had to sit with our coats on. The atmosphere was underwhelming, we expected reggae music and a Caribbean theme but it just wasn't there. The food was OK but nothing to write home about. The selection of desserts was disappointing being a choice of two bog standard items. The food wasn't offensive but it didn't live up to expectations and I probably won't return.

If you like Caribbean food, you will not find better in this area! Ate Caribbean food all over London and this is among the best but, it's in Suffolk! Simple tasty healthy food! Milder than Indian curries and full of flavour! Good beer too! And great staff...
