Complete Rubbish Clearance

Pleasant to deal with over the phone but very expensive service at a time of bereavement and to be avoided. We needed the last part of house clearance (mostly bags of rubbish already sorted) to be removed as The Red Cross had helped us with most of it pre-Covid. There remained about 3 wardrobes a bed and a piano - items of furniture to be taken away as well, which the Red Cross could not take. Hugely expensive - 2,000 for a total of about 8 hours work (came back on a second day due to having to collect grandchildren from school part way through the first day). It should have been 1,800 but I asked for a carpet to be removed - an old nylon carpet stuck to floor with the rubber disintegrated. I helped Simon roll it up and put it into a large bag and he said "right that's another 200". We helped him throughout - he doesn't pay for any extra manpower, as he says it costs him too much. He also wanted paying in cash! You can pay far less than this but we were desperate as live far away and had to get the job finished after 10 visits over 2 years (yes, we had done most of the work already). He knew we were desperate and had actually suffered 3 bereavements. It was the most horrendous experience. Buyer beware.
