The Clarence Hotel

The location of the hotel is great - very close to the sea - you can even see it out the window. Although the room was clean, the bedside lamp was not working and we did not have the plug for the bath. We have reported it and were told that it will be fixed first thing next morning and it was not fixed. Overall okay, but could be a lot better.

We stayed for 2 nights , not very clean , didn't sleep at all due to noise outside and other guest in the hotel. It not very child friendly the room was dirty ,stains on the sheets and towels the room was too warm and had a funny smell. If you are looking for a hotel with kids please avoid this place the door did not lock properly no reception so any problems you have to txt a mobile number , which you are lucky if you get a reply. The bathroom had mould in and the shower curtin was dirty. The pictures on website are so misleading it's nothing like the pictures. My advice go speed on money on somewhere else.
