Caister Branch - Manager would not accept donation of 3 wheel mobility aid due to health and safety issues and yet several days afterwards an illegally dumped identical walker is on sale for 20. Also not the most appreciative charity shop in my opinion as now donate items elsewhere where staff and managers especially are more grateful.

Sadly, although have regularly donated items over the years.... on the last two visits, no one has even bothered to say "Thank you ".....or ask my number for them to gain more funding! ..... I will be donating elsewhere for the future.

A great pity to hear the treatment of a staff member can be so poor given the gravity of their circumstances.

I took ill in November 2016 and was hospitalised- my partner never left my bedside and her employers were fabulous. Then in February 2017 I underwent what should have been routine day surgery (leading on from original hospital admission) which sadly had major complications- again my partner got nothing but support from her employers. Unfortunately I had to be readmitted for further very complex surgery later in the year - again nothing but support from my partners employers. How a charity can treat an employee in such a manner as this one has is beyond belief. I wonder how their clients are cared for! Surely they should lead by example and support staff member whose family member was not only critically ill but had only given birth 2 weeks before. I will not be supporting this charity in any shape or form until this matter is dealt with correctly and a public apology is given to their manager. Oh and just to be clear I am a retired nurse with vast end of life caring experience!
