Stayed here with my 7 year old son for a fun beach weekend. Can't fault this B&B. Colin was very welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble but not over bearing either. Perfect host. Even at breakfast the balance of chat and then time to eat was spot on. We stayed in the family room which ticked all the boxes for us. Clean, comfortable and cosy. Felt very happy and safe here. Location was perfect for us. Everything within walking distance - Restaurants, amusements, pleasure Beach, beach itself and seafront activities and yet upon your return to the wetherdene you had peace and tranquility. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order, all lovely. My son even asked for extra breakfast which Colin and Lynette were only too happy to accommadate. Little perks were their DVD selection which my son loved, the mini fridge in room and the fan which was much appreciated in the warm weather. Would highly recommend for a mini break in Great Yarmouth.

We are booked in for 4 nights and Ive been here less that 24 hours and woooow. The cleanliness is outstanding (Monica clean from friends). The food is out of this world! Breakfast was perfection. The quality of food and drinks were phenomenal. The service and friendly chat is wonderful. I couldnt ask for a better b&b. Id definitely say this is the best breakfast and best b&b in the world. I will 1000000% be returning and encourage everyone to book in to give your self a well deserved break. Hats off to Colin and Lynette for your amazing work!

Despite booking a holiday this week my partner suddenly ended up in hospital with a serious illness .The money was taken from our bank account the day he emailed to cancel despite his illness and we were refused our money back unless it was resold . We eventually received , reluctantly ,156 as we saw 3days had been booked midweek and only after a second request from my partner and contact by my daughter . They advertised the rest of the 7 days as 2 x4 day stays . We were willing to pay a percentage of our hire but not 202 as we are pensioners and had saved for this first break away .Yes,an insurance might have been a good idea but we could not afford it immediately so were about to take an insurance Unfortunately this does not suggest this is a caring family run place ,especially when the attitude was so dismissive of any circumstances . We would all like to make money for nothing but unfortunately that is not an option we have
