Behind the rickety looking double gate and high trees hides a dinky little church with an unnecessarily large grave yard. Great Wolford was once the home of the Beecham family who, much to the world's relief, gave us Beecham's Powders and two great Conductors. If you're into that sort of thing, have a look around the church yard and see who you can find. If not then the church will provide a few moments diversion. Only 3 bells so no fun there if you ring except maybe a fleeting visit as part of a tour.
