Ok, this is an honest review from a customer who paid a lot of money for a staircase with glass panelling. The low rate review is forced by what can only be described as the worst customer service I have ever had the misfortune to experience. This company was used by a developer to fit a staircase in our new home. As part of the options, we paid for the upgraded staircase. On first sight, the staircase looks really well put together and very well finished, however, one of the small glass panels had a chip in it, on an edge that is not accessible via footfall passing it. It was not easy to see, but was noticed by us on immediately moving in. Cullum and Clarke were informed of this by my wife and they decided to first just ignore and not respond to our report and then several calls to them after. Then they decided to try to tell us that we werent the customer and that they would only discuss matters with the developer, even refusing to accept that we had paid for this as a special order and that we WERE the customer. I dealt with the owner of Cullum and Clarke on the phone and he just point blank lied about contacting people, saying that it was signed off by the developer, even though we did an inspection and reported it straight away on taking over the property. Anyway, my advice is this; if you have work carried out by this outfit, inspect everything carefully once work completed, as they have no interest in the customer and only interest in taking their money. I am now in the process of seeking legal advice.
