        This is a proper post office counter meaning they take larger parcels etc which most do not these days. I don't bother with services in Cherry Hinton or Fulbourn anymore after they suggested i go to wilbraham

        Great local shop and post office with full range of services, including banking.

        I simply love my local post office. I can withdraw cash without paying any service charges and I can pay in cheques (yes, some of our customers still use them!) and do business banking without having to leave the village. The shop is great too. The prices are reasonable - the bread and milk is a little more expensive than a supermarket but of course a small shop cannot get the discounts that giant stores can. Bear in mind that when you go to a supermarket, you are tempted by other things you didn't plan on buying, so you often spend more than expected. You wouldn't have done that if you'd have supported your local shop! At this establishment, you can even get your hair cut and other beauty treatments plus on Fridays, you can buy a home-cooked authentic curry for an end of week treat.
