I visited for the first time this morning. It was everything you could wish for: A very polite and knowledgeable butcher who couldn't do enough for me. And a great range of meat. It's worth making a detour for. However, bear in mind that they don't accept cards, only cash but the CO-OP have a cash machine and are a few steps away.

Absolutely lovely little establishment, super produce at surprisingly keen prices , they also sell a wonderful scottish non alcoholic ginger wine, best I've ever tasted , hats off to our local butcher ,thanks for looking after us in the community

Buyers beware, I've used this butcher's for a number of years and usually have received great products. However i recently bought a mixed BBQ pack for 19 and it was absolutely unacceptable!! Burgers were so thin i basically put them in the bin .....buyers beware!!
