I thank all at Totham lodge for their care and love they gave my Mum for the last 11 months of her life , I can never express the relief I have for her at the end of life care she received.

I was a little nervous moving Dad to a care home. Both Jo and Julie provided the necessary assurances that he would be well looked after. This is a relatively small care home with about 30 residents, located in an old detached mansion, set in some impressive grounds. The long driveway leads to the main residence, and it is like being in eutopia. It has an incredibly peaceful feel about it. Dad was only resident here for six weeks before he passed, but during that time I felt that he was welcomed with open arms, the staff were attentive and friendly, and Dad's needs were more than met. Dad poked fun in a nice friendly way at the staff and they gave as good as they got which was just what he needed. I observed that the staff had a good team spirit and actively engaged with all the residents to make sure that they were comfortable and included. Totham Lodge deserves to be commended on their approach to care giving, and I would have no hesitiation in recommending this place to others in a similar position to me.

This home comes highly recommended - through the whole Covid experience they have been professional and loving and I could not have put my mother in a better place for her safety. As a dementia patient, she has been very well cared for and they have been supportive to us as a family throughout.
