I am scared getting insurance from this company due to so many bad reviews in the past few months. I literally got a cheap quote but better pay 1.5k than 1k with doubts. Some issues are unreal and very silly. I am scared.

As my car insurance was due, I thought I'd use a comparison site and Peter Best came top with the cheapest quote. To be honest, I have never heard of them, but I thought I'd give them a call. So after waiting around 30 minutes, I had a chat with this lady, with my sole intention of hoping to get the insurance cheaper. Well, this was not the case, as I got told, that the older a person gets, the higher the insurance? I was also told that the cost goes up if I don't use my car for commuting? In other words, if it is sitting doing nothing, it costs more, than if I was actually using it? When I discovered that my new updated quote was going to be 50 more that the cost on the comparison site - about 400. Amazingly, if I had paid online, (without the human interaction), it was going to be cheaper. Anyway, I said "I'll leave it" and ended the call. I thought I would stay with my current company, the AA. If anyone from Peter Best Insurance is reading this, then you have deservedly lost money.
