The minute we walked in we where treated with huge enthusiasm from a lovely young lady that checked us in and showed us to room 4 . Lovely room , small but cosy with everything you want for two , a tv and as much coffee and tea you would ever need, a comfortable bed and slept very well , a nice shower room , clean towels and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was excellent, lovely full cotswold to be recommended, will see you through the day . We didn't eat here for an evening meal as liked to eat out during the day but if Breakfast was anything to go with it will most probably be good . A nice bar to have a drink in , seating outside and around the back on warm days . Most definitely recommend The Lamb Inn . Would i visit again ! Most definitely. Thank you to all the staff .

We have just spent 4 lovely nights here. On our arrival at reception, we were greeted by a very nice lady who showed us to our rooms and she made us very welcome throughout our stay. All the Staff are amazing, helpful, polite and very hard working. As the Lamb Inn is over 400 years old it has great characteristics and quirky rooms. The stairs leading to the rooms within the building can be a challenge, if you have a few jars of the Amber nectar. If you have mobility issues the main building may not be suitable, except for the Rissington Suite, but there are rooms in the courtyard behind the Inn and rooms to the side, make sure you speak to Paul or one of the staff direct, before booking (with 3rd party booking companies to get the right room for you). Despite all the nooks and crannies associated with buildings of this age, it is well looked after by Paul and his team, a credit to all. Dogs are more than welcome here too, so long as their owners behave themselves ;-) We did eat in on our first night and can say we were not disappointed with the food. We were not impressed with someone who sat at the bar during our meal with 4 of his friends, who needed to continually use the "F" word rather loudly, (probably the ale talking, something we all found very off putting, so gave it a miss for the rest of our stay. Car parking can be a little difficult if you arrive during school starting/end times as parents use the car park to drop off/collect their young ones from the school opposite. While we were staying here, we spoke to other residents who also said they just loved this place, and would definitely return if they were going to visit this area again, which I could definitely agree with. So if you want a location close by to Stow, Bourton or Moreton, then get in touch with them. Thank you for a lovely stay.
