        Discovered by word of mouth! Had not heard of The Lime Tree until last week. We chose from the bistro menu (served on a Wednesday and Thursday) which comprised of a small selection but was of great quality. 3 starters/mains/desserts. Vegetarians well catered for. Very good value and excellent service. The restaurant was packed out and you will definitely need to book. Great Ouseburn is a bit off the beaten track but easy to get to from the A1.

        We where staying at a nearby caravan park and called in for a meal on our first night in the area. We where very impressed, the service was first class and the food was outstanding. It was very good value but a little on the expensive side if you are on a budget so unfortunately we could only make the one visit. Next time we are in the area we will be calling again.
