I am one of those women who know what they want but don't have the time to get it done. When Juliet came for her first visit, she listened intently to what I wanted for my bedroom, walk in wardrobe and en suite. Even taking into consideration the balcony off of the bedroom she made copious notes and at the end of her investigations announced she could visualise exactly what was needed. She even likened the style to an Elizabeth Taylor film - we bonded. We tested paint together and she brought wallpaper samples. Not masses, because she already knew what was in my head, there was no need to. She had nailed the brief entirely. Next was the week of the decorating. I'm sure you dread having people in your house like me, envisioning constant rounds of tea, incessant music, front doors left open and people coming and going without any information when they would be back, but I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. Not only were they self sufficient, I was kept up to speed at every step. They also asked permission if their radio could go on, but I never even heard it playing. Ultimately I had been told to expect a 4 day job but was delighted when at lunchtime on day 3 I was told it was all done. Richard and his team had made my rooms look gorgeous. I could not be more pleased. The room is a pure sanctuary and every detail has been considered. I could not be happier and have had many compliments from friends as I proudly show them around. Penn Clark Interiors come highly recommended and Juliet and I are already visualising my 'New England' style lounge as the next project. Gill Tiney
