I visited as a solo traveler with my dog to test my kit for a future trip. The tent pitches are level and the ground is good. The toilet block is extremely clean and very warm. I didnt go in the games room but it looked great and looked like it had a vending machine? Theres a washer and dryer in the pot washing area. There was a small amount of road noise early evening but this reduced to almost nothing overnight. The site is next to a working farm so there are animal noises which I actually loved. I even heard an owl! A short walk of less than 5 mins takes you to the lovely River Ribble where there are walks and a small play area. A mile and a half walk takes you into Clitheroe itself. The well stocked Spar shop is a ten minute walk away. The site is next door to the Edisford Arms. A good site in a beautiful area.
