Ahmad Malik is an exceptional foot and ankle specialist. I have been plagued with foot problems for years. As a runner it was so important to find the right specialist who would understand my desire to continue to run. 3 years back Ahmad successfully performed surgery on a particularly angry mortens neuroma. I have since seen him for follow up appointments for stress fractures etc. With Ahmads support I achieved my goal of running London Marathon last year. Ahmad is a wealth of knowledge and takes the time to explain exactly what is going on. He puts the gentle in gentleman. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Ive had bunions for many years, but they never hurt, so I didnt bother getting anything done about them. Then, my second toe became more deformed, and I started to get pain under my left foot which felt like I had a little stone in my shoe. I thought I should seek medical advice. I went to see Mr Malik in the hope of maybe having an injection to relieve discomfort. Mr Malik was informative, professional, and honest. He sent me for an MRI scan which showed that apart from my bunion and hammer toe, I had severe arthritis in both my big toes. Things were worse than I had originally thought, but Mr. Malik explained my MRI scan images in some detail, never using jargon, which made it easy to understand. He then took lots of time to answer all my questions, listen to my concerns and discuss all my options. If youre considering going to Mr Malik for a consultation, you can expect to be provided with everything you need to know about your treatment, both pre and post op. Mr. Malik will only suggest surgery if other options have been fully explored and when the time is right for you. A year after my first consultation, I decided to go ahead and have surgery, first MTP fusion and second hammer toe correction All went very well indeed. My biggest worry was pain, but I can honestly say I had no pain at any point. Mr Malik injected a local anaesthetic into my big toe, and I was given painkillers before I left hospital. I took Co-Codamol for two days and paracetamol for two days, and I didnt need any painkillers after that. Mr Malik is approachable, responsive and gives excellent advice before and after surgery. In my experience, you can feel supported and in the very best hands at every step of the way.

After having an accident which was initially misdiagnosed and then told I would probably need surgery, i researched online and found Mr Malik for a second opinion. For me, he was a dynamic breath of fresh air, direct and very human in his approach. He absolutely knows his stuff and only looks at surgery as a last resort. Fortunately after my MRI, his recommendation was not to operate and to start using my foot normally again. At that moment, my mind set changed and I started to walk again with confidence. After my follow up MRI today , 6 months on, my foot injury has continued to heal, may never be 100% normal again but 90% + will do me! Im so grateful not to have had to have surgery and having had a consultant who I 100% trusted. I would absolutely recommend any one to Mr Malik and for me, if I ever have any other foot or ankle injury, he is the only man I am going to see! Thank you again.

Completely amazing in every respect from beginning to end. Mr Malik and the entire staff could not have been any better. Can't recommend strongly enough. Thank you for making a potentially nerve-wraking experience really positive. Ellis Armstrong

I met Mr. Malik mid April this year for a plantar fasciitis on my right foot. In fact we met Mr. Malik a couple of years back when my son was diagnosed by him and successfully cured from a fracture to his navicular bone. After a series of shock waves therapies and physiotherapists sessions I can say the PF is completely gone and I am anyhow still using the wonderful shoes he suggested to avoid this to come back again. But I am grateful to Mr. Malik for something else, in fact the first time we met he said that he can give me all the medicines and therapies I want but there is one thing that will change completely all of this...lose weight. He introduced me to Intermittent Fasting, I started with 16-8, quickly moved to 20:4 and now since some months I am on 22:2 that is to say 22hours fasting 2 hours eating. I have so far lost 12kg and feel great. This has really changed my life for the better and the IF routine fits perfectly with my style (I am Italian and I love food!!) and even if my family are not using it, it does work nicely the same. So thank you for this again.
