        Recently had to visit The Chiltern Hospital and the staff were absolutely exceptional, really fantastic care and nice people.

        As a previous NHS patient for the same procedure (with the same consultant) this experience was so much more reassuring. It was great having a room to prepare in, and for my husband to wait with me in whilst I waited to be taken to theatre. I felt like a guest, not a patient, and to receive lunch at 10:30 am when I was STARVING was delightful, especially as I usually get a piece of toast and a plastic cup of tea if I'm lucky. All of the staff were noticeably calm, polite and friendly, and had TIME, which is so very rare in an NHS setting. I feel very privileged to be in a position to be able to afford private health insurance and it's just such a shame the NHS is under so much pressure
