West Heath Barn - Holiday Cottages

An excellent place to spend a family (2 adults, 2 teenagers) holiday. The hosts, Gill and Dave, are very friendly and helpful with great local knowledge and suggestions for walks, pubs, beaches etc. The cottage is spacious and attractive with wood beams and terracotta tiles. Rooms are cosy, warm and comfortable. A well equipped, modern kitchen with plenty of good quality utensils, condiments, appliances, crockery etc. Modern, clean bathrooms with powerful shower. And if you have a dog, the enclosure is a great place to let them run around safely. We would definitely return.

Having stayed at West Heath Barn on a few occasions before, we decided it would be an ideal venue for three generations of our family and two dachshunds for a get-together. As always the accommodation was absolutely first class and provided a great deal of space to meet the needs of everyone. Gill and Dave are brilliant hosts and were very responsive to any requests or questions. The barns are really well equipped with everything required for a weeks stay. My mother commented 'They really have thought of everything'! The dogs had their own safe space to have a run around in an enclosed area which proved really useful. The highlight of the week was the opportunity provided by Gill to have a walk and feed with the alpacas. Parking is ideal next to the barns with lots of space for all the cars. The location is perfect with access to two excellent local pubs and shop/caf and endless places to visit and of course the fabulous North coastline. We will be returning again
