After we had to cancel our 2020 SA due to Covid, East Cape kept our deposit open and honoured our original 2020 rates when we rebooked for Easter 2022 - they were very helpful in the rebooking process. We stayed at Umkumbe Safari Lodge in the Sabie area, and were 100% delighted with the lodge, service, food and safari experience. We also hired a car out of Joberg and in Cape Town with East Cape which worked out perfectly. So overall, very happy with the service from East Cape and the Lodge was outstanding. Many thanks to Colin and his team.

This company doesnt deserve to be in business!! After having to cancel our safari which came to 3000 they refuse to budge on a refund, we couldnt even get into the country to go on the safari and they werent even running the trips due to corona. This was a once off booking as im pregant and baby is due in Oct so i absolutely cannot reschedule and the pure lack of understanding and sympathy is absolutely disgraceful. I contacted the game lodge directly and not a cent has even been transferred to the safari lodge from east cape tours itself so they pocketing all the cash themselves while the park has to suffer!!! Unethical, unprofessional and dishonest company!!! AVOID at all costs, excuse the pun

DO NOT BOOK USING THIS COMPANY!! Awful experience due to COVID. after being fobbed off for over a month and the promise that the 'CEO' would be in touch, were finally told they would not be refunding us for our safari even though we're not allowed in the country. This was a honeymoon trip and our wedding was cancelled and not yet rebooked. Out of a 3 week trip this is the only company who did not offer a refund. We just got a generic email from 'Colin' the CEO , no empathy from him, not bothered at all - just a greedy man. I really hope people read this review and chose not to book with this company in the future. Service: Private tours
