        I have been taking flute lessons with Fiona for around 3 years now, from beginner level. Fiona is infinitely patient, knowledgeable and a skilled teacher. She has been incredibly encouraging to me as an adult learner, and as I'm learning for fun, she's been very adaptable and supportive in helping me find interesting and enjoyable pieces to play. I'd recommend her to anyone.

        Fiona Dowty is the perfect piano teacher for me! I'm an adult learner, currently working towards my grade 3. Fiona coached me through my Grade 2 where I was a bag of nerves, having not attended any sort of exam for over 20 years, and still managed a distinction! Her attention to detail is amazing but I never feel pressured due to her incredible patience, particularly when I've had a crazy week and not managed to practice as much as I would like. I leave every lesson feeling motivated and like I've achieved something. I highly recommend Fiona!
