From start to finish, our experience with Marble Cake Company has been phenomenal! Kate was so friendly from the outset and really worked with us to create a unique design that perfectly matched our wedding day. One of the things that we didnt realise how important it would be, was how genuinely excited she was to be part of our journey. After a stressful experience planning our wedding this meant the world to us and we are so thankful to Kate for this! Her communication was outstanding at all points and she was more than willing to work with us to tweak, change and alter things until it was perfect! When we first went to her we were looking for a completely different design, but as our wedding day drew nearer we had a change of heart and wanted to create something completely unique with sentimental elements within the design. Working with this in mind, Kate immediately adapted to this and went above and beyond to create a completely edible chocolate replica of a sentimental ornament we had! The sample box was beautifully presented and the flavours were all so delicious that we actually had such a hard time picking which flavours we wanted that we had to ask for another box to help us decide! We knew from our very first conversation with Kate that Marble Cake Company was the right fit for us for our wedding, but even with all of the drawings and discussions over the design, it couldnt have prepared us for just how beautiful the final product was! Overall, Kate offered a completely bespoke experience that couldnt be faulted. We are over the moon with everything Kate brought to our wedding planning experience and we will never forget it!

Kate designed and made a beautiful wedding cake for me, and it was better than I could have imagined! It was absolutely delicious and fit our wedding theme perfectly. Kate herself is also wonderful! She is lovely and organised, and kept my husband and I informed during the entire process. If you are looking for a stress-free and creative cake maker, look no further!

Kate provided the centrepiece cake for our wedding on the 22.10.2022. She was professional, maintained communication and delivered the most perfect cake. Not only did Kate listen to our ideas, she developed them and created something truly beautiful. It was the best cake that we and our guests had tasted! Marble Cake Company was our first point-of-call when searching for a wedding cake, having already saved loads of Kates incredible cakes to our Pinterest board, and we couldnt believe our luck when she told us she was available for our date! From our first Zoom call together, she was so warm, friendly, and enthusiastic about our plans, and we knew we were in very safe hands. Kate listened to all our ideas and then elevated these beyond anything we could have imagined, sending us 3 (worthy-of-framing) sketches of different options for our cake. Whilst she was completely open to any changes or amendments, they simply werent needed - one of the options was absolutely perfect (even incorporating the damson purple from our colour scheme, which had special meaning to us) and we were so excited to see how Kate would bring this to life. We soon found out that Kates cakes are as delicious as they are beautiful, when we received a gorgeous selection box of flavours to try through the post. Its no exaggeration to say that every slice looked like a work of art and tasted even better - though it was difficult to choose, it was a very welcome task! Kate was also super helpful with this; advising on what might work best with our other food choices / guests dietary requirements, and kindly offering to make a gluten-free sponge for one of the tiers. Kate continued to touch base with us throughout the run-up to the wedding, and she showed such genuine excitement that it felt like we were working alongside a close friend. On the day itself, Kate safely transported the cake to our venue (very glad we didnt have to do this ourselves!) and set everything up behind the scenes. Whilst there were many highlights, one of our favourite memories was walking, just married, into the conservatory at Dewsall Court and seeing Kates breathtakingly stunning cake standing between the flower arches, bathed in soft autumn sunlight. The time invested and painstaking attention to detail was evident in every sugar-spun leaf that Kate had lovingly crafted, and each one of our guests commented on how wonderful (and tasty!) it was. All in all, Kate was an absolute dream to work with from start to finish. She is not only a creative genius, but was such a positive and compassionate presence throughout our wedding planning journey, we cant imagine having done it without her. Thank you, Kate, for all your support and incredible work - the cake was beyond our wildest dreams, and we will always cherish it.
