Sarah is an experienced and excellent teacher who offers just the right combination of sympathetic encouragement and push to move things forward. In the past she has taught me accordion on a face to face basis but now, because of Covid and to save the time and expense of travelling to lessons, I decided to have lessons on Zoom. Zoom was my choice; I believe Sarah is happy to offer face to face lessons. The Zoom lessons work very well; we both have the chosen scores in front of us with marked bar numbers for easy reference and I usually position the camera so that Sarah can see what my fingers are doing - or not! In some ways the online lessons offer more than conventional teaching because I can record my own and also Sarah's playing. I can also check after the lesson to listen to her suggestions for improvement . Aside from the lessons, Sarahs appointment system and web site is very organised and professional. It makes booking and lesson payment both simple and flexible. I thoroughly recommend accordion lessons with Sarah, both online and face to face.
