Friendly, efficient service. I my take rover regularly. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for!

Found out about this place via LR Assistance when called out for coolant leak on new Defender 110 D300. Assistance guys all say they heard good things about Taylors. I can't fault the front of house staff, they are way easier to communicate with than the rubbish Land Rover main dealers who have become worse and worse over the last few years. It's just a real shame I have had such troubles with the warranty repair work they have completed. Took my Defender in for a coolant leak which Lookers Buckinghamshire couldn't see after having to resort to Land Rover Assistance. Taylors fixed this relatively quickly. Defender came back with the smell of exhaust entering the cabin when you drive at low speed. Also came back with mud inside the wheel arches, rear view camera hanging off and scratches to front guard which was annoying. Went back again and apparently something was wrong with turbo which needed replacing. Took ages but eventually the vehicle was returned. About 1 week later the turbo failed on the motorway in Holland and fired oil up the side of the Defender and my horsebox. Took 6 weeks to be returned to the UK and cost me about 1600 to get a towing vehicle to carry on my journey. LR Dealership in Holland put it down to faulty repair work carried out by Taylors which was very disappointing. The vehicle came back and was repaired by Taylors. It had damage to wing mirror and scratched to front bumper protector from where they carried out repair work. Then a week later it broke down yet again on the M25. I took it to Grange Land Rover Hatfield instead. Its been off the road since August 2022 and the vehicle has now had an entire new engine, hope to get it back soon. Having said that I can't fault Taylors for trying to make things right after their mistakes and I do appreciate that. Just such a shame they couldn't just get things fixed straight away. I am still waiting for them to sort out scratches. I would go back to Taylors again for smaller work I just don't know if I trust them for major work. Not sure if this is just what we should now expect from Land Rover dealerships and repair centres.
