Just like most guys been going here for years without any issues , regular staff are great Untill today had a barber I've not seen before , sat in the chair and kept my face mask on This obviously offended the barber , he asked if I would be taking it off I said "no its fine" He then said "you think that mask that's been in your dirty pocket will make any difference" And asked "you've been jabbed ain't ya" Rude and and aggressive all in one go .nice The comments caught me of guard if I'm honest I wasn't expecting it So we carried on and after 5 minutes of uneasy silence he did do a decent hair cut just a shame about the attitude I did get the feeling he was a little reflective about his hasty comments Truth is I,m not 100% sold on masks , I do know I've Been wearing one since covid started and I've not caught it yet I,m just trying to do what I can to keep us all safe Couple of things My pocket and mask are both clean and cleaned regularly Vaccinations are not a guarantee of not catching the virus If you want to wear a mask it's your choice Theres plenty of other barbbers in Dunmow to choose from and there prices may have returned to what they were pre covid.... not sure ? Think I,ll find out on my next visit to the Barbbers

I've been coming here for several years. It was the best barbers in Dunmow and Jay and Gary have always been brilliant. But today, for the second time in the last couple of months I've had the newer barber. He's rude, aggressive, argumentative to the point where I wanted to walk out and go elsewhere. All I wanted was some advise on a slightly different style of haircut and all I got was an argument. As I said, all of the other barbers in there are fantastic but I do not want to come back here again.

Gary cut my hair for years when I lived locally, and I was always very happy. I then moved to Norfolk and have tried numerous barbers. Today, I re visited Dunmow for a meeting and decided to also get a hair cut whilst in town. Unfortunately Gary wasnt working today but boy was I fortunate to have Dale! Its probably the best cut Ive had for years! Also he was very friendly and we enjoyed a good chat. I have tried other barbers in town on previous visits but now very pleased to return to Mens Room. I will definitely be back when returning to Dunmow!
