You don't realise what you have until it is gone. I was a patient at this surgery for over sixty years and now have moved to Cornwall, where medical attention is somewhat sketchy to poor. I bought a house off of a medical practice and not only was it in a dreadfully neglected state, official forms were left lying around, hypodermic syringes scattered about outside, clinical waste uncollected and worst of all, totally dirty. Their new practice premises lack any form of charm with receptionists who can be polite but prefer to keep distant, computer systems that don't work and medical equipment that looks very vintage (and what was the senior partner doing in that shed?). In Bedwyn you have very competent staff, a pleasant environment with modern equipment, all kept in good order and the well deserved support of the village. You even have Sue, who although she does not take prisoners, is very professional, competent and caring. I just thank the doctors and staff of the Bedwyn surgery for a Stirling job
