Premier Inn Durham (Newton Aycliffe) hotel

Worst hotel ever!! Old dirty, disgusting, noises all directions, no charging points or sockets, sleepless and painful rest ! No lifts, premier inn are you kidding me !!! Shut this hotel down now and sort this out! Its fifth Take note of these reviews, people giving 5 star reviews are you for real!!! You are misleading people reading reviews is insecure and discriminatory towards disabled peoples access as one review I read on here, I struggled with my luggage I was here three nights checked out 2 days earlier its rough, it reminds me of a hostel than a hotel Noteworthy details: RUN!!!!

Ideal stop-off on a long drive up to Scotland. Friendly staff, nice room, and a steakhouse for the never disappointing Premier Inn eat all you can breakfast the next morning and added bonus of a 5 proper soft play room for the children (open from 9am)! Quiet overnight. Nice extra touch of a little Easter bunny hunt in the room for the children, and chocolates left out for us on arrival. Only tiny niggle would be that the coffee at breakfast wasn't top notch, but otherwise the food and service were all excellent.

Have scored this a 5 star based on other budget type hotels we have stayed - This premier inn is perhaps a little older than some, but it was a fairly quiet place to stay, and the main road nearby was actually not overly busy at all. The person working on reception was good with the kids and gave them a colouring pack. The kids also had a little bear hunt in the room which was a nice touch - when they returned the bears to reception they got a little treat. If we needed to be in this area again I wouldn't hesitate to use this particular premier inn again.
