Hillbark Hotel & Spa

Had afternoon tea this Saturday. One of the best we've ever had. The staff were friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough to make us welcome, especially Lois. We were celebrating our joint birthdays with 2 of our grandchildren and were surprised when the staff walked in with a ahppy birthday message with candles and cake which made the experience even more special Can't recommend this beautiful hotel more highly Thank you from John and Sylvia

Took my mother in law for mother day , afternoon tea , very disappointed, not a good selection of finger sandwiches, said we were getting champagne, but got Prosecco , couldnt finish all the cakes , so I asked could we take them home , got told we can not get food go of the premises, it wasnt cheap at 60.00 per person, one of the waitresses knocked my drink over , the table on the edges were sticky, so not impressed, will not be going there again , shame Food & drinks: Not a good experience

Had the misfortune of having what should of been a special Christmas day dinner, completely ruined by extremely poor service and even poor quality food. I am still left shocked and saddened by the entire shambolic day. At 175 per person you would expect a lot more than hour long waits between stone cold courses and raw vegetables. We left after 3 of what should have been 6 courses extremely hungry and upset. I would give 0 stars and would never return or advise anyone to book here
