Not so much a pound store anymore,with item being placed on the wrong shelves and you only find out when at the till that some of the items picked up are not 1 at all, but 1.50 or more! Gone has the enjoyable experience of buying good things in what was a genuine 1 store a few years ago. Many of the products on sale can be found cheaper sometimes 15p - 50p or even more, cheaper in Home Bargains and B&M stores which both are only a short distance away. To be honest Poundland has priced themselves far too high and I think it is only a matter of time before they disappear from the high streets and shopping malls. I used to live getting good offers and quality goods but now I shop mainly in Home Bargains who have some great offers and items. Poundland should be just that and not 's......
