My Father was only here for a short time as he was end of life. All the staff are fantastic. The nurses were always updating me on my father's health. They controlled his pain with the assistance of St Liukes. Nothing was ever to much trouble and they all really care. I was with my father when he passed the nurse & carers were so supportive. I can't thank them enough they are all beautiful souls.

My mum has been living here for 9 months now and is in the advanced stages of vascular dementia. I am extremely happy with her care. She is happy and well looked after and the home is kept clean and always seems well organised. The staff at Carolyne house are warm and friendly to both the residents and their visitors. They are so patient with Mum and always seem to take their time with her. We are kept informed on her well being at all times and Sue the events lady sends pictures and videos of her to us regularly. Any problems or issues we may have had have been dealt with quickly and affectively. We looked at so many care homes before choosing and I am so pleased we chose Carolyne house for our mum.

Unfortunately mum is coming to the end of her life ,she has been at Carolyn house almost a year,we thought she would only be with us for a little time when she went there but the staff have worked so hard to make her stay comfortable and happy,they have give us another year with mum she absolutely loved being there and shes very close to leaving us when she does I will write another review but for now a big thank you to all the staff at Carolyn house,Peter Beatrice,s son

I can only concur with previous reviews. Reluctantly my Grandmother needed to go into a Care facility earlier this year. Having been independent all her life it took a period of great adjustment. I researched all the Care facilities in the area and Carolyne House always seemed to come up trumps. My 99 year old Nans Care needs became such that It was no longer safe for her to stay independently in her own home so reluctantly we both realised at the time that it was in her best interests that she moved here. I can only comment from my personal experience of Carolyne House and its staff as well as feedback from my Grandmother. Physically she is in better shape now than when she was staying in her own home independently. The staff are always on the ball when it comes to my Nans medical health and they are in regular communication with me whenever an issue crops up. I also rest easy at night knowing that her care needs are well taken care of. The Manageress is very pleasant and helpful. Nothing is ever too much trouble and she is always ready to accommodate where possible. She is very communicative and easy to talk with. The staff are always very busy, its not an easy job and they are in high demandbut whenever I speak with them they are always pleasant and polite. They do their best to make my Nans stay a comfortable and pleasant time. Although I would prefer that my Nan was still living independently in her own home, I am very happy with her care, the pleasant atmosphere created by the staff and their overall care of my Nan. I am very pleased that she was able to be accommodated in Carolyne House and from my personal experience with my Nans care I have no regrets that we chose Carolyne House.
